Our founder, Dekel Berenson, has been designing and building web based applications since 1995. His first website, hosted on Yahoo!'s GeoCities, was a dedicated fan site for the TV show 'The X-Files' and was one of the first websites listed on Yahoo's human-edited web directory, predating Search Engines such as Google. Since then, and for almost 30 years, he has led large teams in designing and deploying dozens of projects, ranging from large eCommerce stores to complex Web and Mobile applications, as well as pioneering Search Engine Optimization, Pay-per-Click, Social Media, Content, Email, and Mobile Marketing, as well as Marketing Analytics, Conversion and Funnel Optimization. Dekel holds a Master's degree in International Relations and European Studies and received several academic awards, including an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and the Best Thesis Award, which he received for his master's thesis ‘Biopolitics And EU Governance: Foucault, Agamben and The Production of a European People.’ In his spare time, Dekel is also an award-winning filmmaker and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As of 2023, his short films have screened in hundreds of festivals.
